Question
An email with the following contents has been received for a number of domain names:
Action: outgoing transfer pending
Status: ACT
Order date: 2018-05-23
Activation date: 2018-05-23
Renewal date: 2020-12-10

Comments: the transfer has been requested by another registrar for this domain; if you do not explicitly approve or reject, the domain will be transferred in 5 days automatically
Can an outgoing transfer be forced to complete?
Answer
To complete an outgoing transfer to another registrar:
Via FOA email (for gTLDs)
After an outgoing transfer is started, the registrant (domain owner) will receive a "FOA2" email asking them to confirm or deny the transfer.
Tip: Approving the FOA2 email helps complete your transfer faster.
Via RCP (Reseller Control Panel)
- Navigate to Domains Overview >> Recent Domain Trades >> Outgoing transfers tab in RCP and click on Approve in the actions column.
Via API
-
- REST API - ApproveTransfer
- XML API - approveTransferDomainRequest
If case an outgoing transfer is not processed, please refer to the article for possible reasons.
Note: Rejecting/declining domain transfers is not possible from registrar end.
