Registration is realtime.
Note that the registry will always include the registrar's contractual details as technical contact. That means that the whois will always show Openprovider's data. Unfortunately we cannot whitelabel this.
A transfer can be started in the Openprovider control panel. An authorization code is required. The current registrar can explicitly approve or reject the transfer. If no decision is made, the transfer will be auto-approved after five days.
The registry will not send an e-mail to the domain contacts after the transfer finishes.
A domain name may not be transferred in the same month as its registration or the month afterwards. A domain name may not be transferred within the first month after its renewal.
The transfer code is valid for 30 days only.

After sending a delete request, the domain registrant has a few days to take over the management of the domain. If he does not do that, the registry will remove the domain from the zone file. After 30 more days, the domain becomes available again.
If a recently registered domain name is deleted before it has been billed to the registrar (normally within the first 60 days), the registry will not delete the domain immediately but mark it 'auto-expire' after the first year of registration.
If the registrant has chosen to take over the management of the domain name, he can choose to transfer the domain to Openprovider again; this is the way to restore a domain in Openprovider.
