Registration

 

After starting the registration the owner will receive two emails from the registry.
The first email is a welcome message.
The second email contains links to the Registry Agreement, AUP Policy. Also it will hold the supplied contact information.
In this second email you must confirm the validity of the contact information and agree to the terms and conditions and AUP Policy.
If this confirmation is not given within 21 days, the domainname will be cancelled again. This check will happen again when the domainname renews or when the registrant is changed.

 

Transfer

 

A transfer can be done using an authorization code. This TLD is not automated, so you can send the authorization code, handles and nameservers to support@openprovider.com


After we start the transfer, the current registrar has 7 days to decline or approve the transfer. After 7 days the transfer will finalize automatically.
Please note that there is an added fee to the transfer of a .af domainname, these costs will be charged when placing your oder.

Trade (owner change)

 

The owner of a domainname can be changed by replacing the owner handle in the control panel. After changing the owner the new owner will will receive two emails from the registry.
The first email is a welcome message.
The second email contains links to the Registry Agreement, AUP Policy. Also it will hold the supplied contact information.

Update

 

An update of a .af domainname is real-time. It can take up to 60 minutes for new nameservers to start working.

 

Delete

 

A deletion is realtime. After deletion the domainname will remain in quarantine for 28 days. During this period it can be restored.

 

Restore (reactivation)

 

A domainname can be reactivated for 28 days after expiration or deletion. A reactivation is processed real-time.
