Successful domain registration via RCP or API requires:

For registration of a .vuelos domain, a special registration token is required. The registry provides this code (called the allocation token) to the domain applicant after it has confirmed its eligibility. Contact us for more information about the token provisioning process. After a token has been assigned, a new domain registration is processed in realtime.

Successful domain transfer via RCP or API requires:


During the transfer period which can take 6 days, the current provider or the owner can reject to the transfer.

The registration period after a successful transfer will extend with 1 year, unless the transfer is ordered within the domain's auto-renew grace period at the previous registrar.

  • The registrant must own and/or operate an airline or online travel agency that is either headquartered in Uruguay or has companies and/or Affiliates incorporated in Uruguay (Affiliate here to be defined as a person or company that either directly or indirectly, through one or more intermediaries, controls, is controlled by or is under common control as the affiliated person or company) as verified and determined by the Registry in its sole and exclusive right. The registrant must have a clear and meaningful nexus with the Uruguayan and Latin American air travel industry as determined by the Registry in its sole discretion. The registrant must select a domain name that has a clear and logical nexus with the activities of the Registrant and the Latin American air travel Industry, specifically in Uruguay. The registrant must possess a bona fide intention to use the domain name in supporting the mission and purpose of the TLD and the Latina America air travel industry. Aall domain names sought by Applicants must correspond to the Applicant's company name(s), trademark(s), trade name(s) or service mark(s), product(s), or product category.
  • There should be a clear and logical nexus between the activities of the Registrant, the Latin American air travel Industry, specifically in Uruguay, and the domain name being registered. Registrants shall have a bona fide intention to use the Domain name in supporting the mission and purpose of the TLD.
