Registration

Registration can only be done by Tunisian organizations, citizens or legal residents or foreign companies with a valid trademark in Tunisia. Domain registration can be done via RCP or XML API or REST API.

Transfer

Transfer of .tn domains is possible via RCP or XML API or REST API. Transfers are not real-time and are processed manually.

Update

Owner change (trade)

An owner change can be performed by updating the owner handle of the domain. Trades are not real-time and are processed manually.

The documents that need to be provided for ownership change of a .tn domain are:

Either a local registered company certificate or a registered trademark which covers Tunisia.

You can initiate a domain owner change via RCP or XML API or REST API, this will generate a notice on our end and a member of staff will reach out to source the above mentioned documents.

Other update

An contact update can be performed by updating the handle of the domain. This change is processed realtime.

Deletion / Restore

Delete

A domain can be deleted manually. Deletion has to be done at least two days before renewal.

Restore / reactivate

If you wish to restore a .tn domain after expiry, please contact our Support Team to check if your domain can be restored manually.
