This article describes the procedures and requirements of .rs domain names.

Successful domain registration via RCP or API requires:
- All used handles must include a VAT number (You can add the VAT Number or the personal ID)
- Local presence required - local presence service available
- two or more nameservers or a nameserver group
Successful domain transfer requires:
- an authorisation code
- two or more nameservers or a nameserver group
- Documents needs to be send to support department:
- For private individual
- Copy Passport
- For companies
- Company registration document
- For private individual
After initiating the transfer please send the Company Registration certificate for companies and/or Passport for Individuals to our support team. Be aware: an ownerchange is not possible during the transfer. It has to be requested after the transfer is finished.

The transfercode can only be sent to the registrant. This is a manual process. Please contact our support team at support@openprovider.com if you want us to request this at the registry.
Owner change (trade)
A change of ownership can be done by replacing the registrant handle. After initiating the trade please send the Business Registration certificate for companies and/or Passport for Individuals (Copy) to our support team.
Other update
A change in the information of the domainname can be done by updating it in the control panel. These changes are processed real-time. A change in nameservers will also work immediately.
Delete
The deletion of the domain is realtime.
Restore / reactivate
Restore of .rs is not possible.
