.pl

This article describes the procedures and requirements of .pl domain names.
Click on the subject below to open the dropdown for more information.

Successful domain registration via RCP or XML API or REST API requires:

  • domain's contact handles (owner, administrative, technical)
  • two or more nameservers or a nameserver group

After the registration of a domain (or a transfer or update to a new contact), the registry will send an e-mail to the domain contacts, informing them that their personal data was entered in the registry's system:

Within 30 days from the date of entering your data into the main .PL domain Registry, it is necessary to conclude an agreement for a .pl domain registration, registration of option or activities with the aim to conclude it. Otherwise, your data will be removed from the main .PL domain Registry

Your customer can safely ignore this e-mail, it's for informational purposes only.

Successful domain transfer via RCP or XML API or REST API requires:

  • authorization code
  • two or more nameservers or a nameserver group
  • confirmation email sent by the .pl Registry to the registrant contact must be confirmed within 5 days.

If the confirmation is not given within 5 days, reseller will receive an email notification "[Openprovider] domain.pl: transfer rejected

Openprovider can not inform you to which email address the .PL Registry has sent the transfer confirmation email, since the whois is no longer publicly available. Please contact the current registrar to check which email address is set as registrant email address which will receive the transfer confirmation email. This email can not be re-send.

Transfer can be initiated within 5 days after domain registration/previous transfer.

Registration agreement The registry requires that a registration agreement is in place between the provider and the domain holder. The text of this registration agreement and any required supplements is the following:

Due to the regular changes in registry rules and configuration or missing information from registry side, and despite our effort to keep our knowledge base up-to-date, information in the knowledge base may be outdated or incorrect. If you encounter some issue, please report it through the "HotJar" feedback collector on the bottom right, or (if it is blocked by your browser) by clicking the "Submit a request" link below. No rights can be derived from the information in this knowledge base. If there is discrepancy between the knowledge base and the process in Openprovider, the process in Openprovider is leading.
