If a .pl domain should not be renewed, let it expire in your Openprovider account by setting the auto-renewal option to OFF. The domain will expire at its expiration date.

If the domain holder explicitly wants to delete his domain, send us a delete request through the control panel or API. The domain will then be deleted immediately and become available for registration again after 5 days. Note that after such an explicit delete domain restoration is not possible.

Restore (reactivation)

After expiration, a domain name can be restored for 30 days through the request queue for reactivations.

Note that it is not possible to restore a domain that was explicitly deleted. Only expired domain names can be restored. To re-register an explicitly deleted domain name, wait for 5 days until it becomes available for registration again.

In special circumstances and at additional costs, within 24 hours after an explicit delete of a domain, the registry may be able to restore it. If you want us to try this approach, contact us within 24 hours after the deletion of the domain name.
