This article describes the procedures and requirements of .hn domain names.

A .hn domain name registration is realtime and requires no specific additional data outside of the regular contact details for the owner, administrative and technical contact.
To transfer a .hn domain name please make sure to first get the authorisation code from the current registrar.
Using this code you can request the transfer through our website.
The current registrar will have ten days to either approve or object the transfer.
After ten days the domain transfer will finish automatically.

NOTE : Even if a .hn transfer is a paid transfer, it does not include a renewal and will not extend the expiration date of the domain.

Owner change (trade)

A change of ownership can be done by replacing the owner contact in the control panel. After saving the changes the change is processed realtime.

Other update

A change of contactdetails can be done by updating the associated handles in the control panel. After saving the changes the domainname will be updated realtime.

Delete

A delete is realtime. After a delete the domain will be in quarantine status for 28 days. During this period the domain can be reactivated.

Restore / reactivate

A domain can be restored using a restore domain command at the supplier. The domain can be renewed for 28 days after expiring.
