This article describes the procedures and requirements of .cm domain names.

You can register a .cm domain through our API or control panel. This registration is real time and requires the following information:
- the domain's contact handles (owner, administrative, etc.)
- two or more nameservers or a nameserver group
To transfer a .cm domain name please make sure to first get the authorisation code from the current registrar. Using this code you can request the transfer through our website. The transfer will complete instantly and the domain name will be available in your account immediately.

Owner change (trade)
A change of ownership can be done by replacing the owner contact in the control panel. After saving the changes the change is processed realtime. It may take up to 24 hours for the whois to update.
Other update
A change of contactdetails can be done by updating the associated handles in the control panel. After saving the changes the domainname will be updated realtime. It may take up to 24 hours for the whois to update. If the name servers of a .cm domain are modified more than three times in a month, the domain is set to serverUpdateProhibited for the next four weeks.
Delete
A deletion is realtime and can be requested through the control panel or API.
Restore / reactivate
Unfortunately .cm domain names can not be restored as there is no quarantine period.
