Successful domain registration via RCP or XML API or REST API requires:

 

• Registration can be done in the control panel and has no restrictions.
.org.bo is a Fulfillment TLD. Fulfillment TLDs (FTLDs) are registered through a manual registration process.
• The manual registration process might involve documents, depending on the respective registry regulations, and is therefore not automated for real-time registrations or real-time updates.
• Updates may incur additional costs.
• The registration can take up to 5 working days.

Successful domain transfer via RCP or XML API or REST API requires:

  • authorisation code
  • two or more nameservers or a nameserver group

After starting the transfer in the control panel, our support team will contact the registry and inform you about the necessary paperwork.

Owner change (trade)

The owner can be changed through the control panel by replacing the handles associated with the domain name.
For owner change - LoA (Letter of Authorization) is required to show the ownership transfer agreement.

Other update

Domain modifications in Bolivia must be managed manually on the NIC website. When requesting a modification through the API, the request is created, but it remains pending until an executive can complete the request in the NIC BOLIVIA account. If this request remains open, awaiting execution, it is not possible to submit a new modification request. Please open a support ticket if the changes are not reflected even after 24 hours.

Delete

As .org.bo domains cannot be deleted explicitly. To delete a .org.bo domain, you must set the domain renewal mode or default renewal mode to OFF, which will result in Auto-Expiration.

Restore / reactivate

It is not possible to restore a .org.bo domainname, there is no quarantine period.
