Important:

Starting with 2024-05-05, management of .CF domains will no longer be available. This deadline is outside our control, the communication with the Registry has been completely down for some time. You can still attempt to transfer domains, but at the moment no requests are processed succesfully at the Registry. Unless anything changes, communication with the registry will be completely over after that date.

Successful domain registration requires:

  • Two or more nameservers or a nameserver group
  • The values of title, first name, last name and state are mandatory parameters of the contact handles used for .cf registration requests. The registry requires a valid state code in ISO 3166-2 format!

Note: If you get the error "505 - Invalid attribute value syntax; Could not get registry contact for billingcontact (P-S*******: 504 Missing required attribute) [title]", please contact Openprovider Support with the handles (along with title: Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr., etc.) you want to use.
