The ccTLD Release Phases announced by the Tanzanian Registry are as follows:

DATE : 1st March 2022 - 31st May 2022

ALLOCATION : 
Domains will be allocated at the end of the priority phase
1) Owners of a third-level domain which was registered prior to 1 March 2022
2) Trademark owners

PHASE : Priority Phase 2

DATE : 1st June 2022 - 30th June 2022

ALLOCATION : 
Domains will be allocated at the end of the priority phase
Owners of a third-level domain which was registered between 1 March 2022 – 31 May 2022

PHASE : General Availability

DATE : 1st July 2022 onwards

ALLOCATION : Based on First Come First Serve Basis

Note :
Some domain names are reserved names; these are the names which are ineligible for registration due to ICANN Restrictions or Registry Operator Designation.
Certain domain names have been classified as Premium and hence will be costly than the normal domain names.
If you wish to apply for a Premium Domain Name, please contact our Support Team to process your application.

Once a transfer has been initiated, the current owner and current registrar of the domain will be notified of the transfer request.

Both have 5 days to accept this request. If none of them accepts, or if one objection is made, the transfer will be denied.

If the owner accepts, the transfer is completed instantaneously.

    During this period, following after an expiration, the domain can be restored for free. This period does not apply if the domain is deleted explicitly. More info.

    During this period, an expired or deleted domain name can be reactivated at an additional fee.
