Question
How to register a domain which becomes available again?
Do you provide drop catching services / a reservation / backorder system?
Answer
A domain can be registered once it becomes available in the whois. At that moment, the control panel and API will accept the registration request.
Openprovider does not offer any drop catching services or a reservation service. Drop catching via the Openprovider API is not allowed, see article 9.2 of the terms & conditions
If drop catching activities are detected by our monitoring, the reseller account may be blocked.
It is also not possible to restore a domain which is currently in quarantine at an other Openprovider reseller unless this is the request of the current registrant. (proof needs to be submitted))
