What does "RRQ" domain status mean?

Question

After restore operation, the domain appeared with "RRQ" status.
What does that mean and why is the domain not yet active?

Answer

The "RRQ" abbreviation means "Restore request queued". Such status is set for several extensions during the restoring domain from a redemption. While a majority of registries support real-time domain restore, some registries require additional time to apply internal changes during the recovery process.
In that case, we do not turn domain to "Active" immediately after the restore request sent by the end-user but taking a short pause, temporarily moving the domain to the "RRQ" state (check extensions).
Within a short period of time (as an exception procedure may take up to 24 hours), the domain will return to "Active" state and parking name servers will be updated to regular ones.
