A .co.nz domain name registration is realtime and requires no specific additional data outside of the regular contact details for the owner, administrative and technical contact.
A transfer has to be registered with an authorization code also known as UDAI.

The UDAI will expire after 30 days.

A change of ownership can be done by replacing the owner contact in the control panel. After saving the changes the change is processed realtime.
A change of contactdetails can be done by updating the associated handles in the control panel. After saving the changes the domainname will be updated realtime.
A delete is realtime. After a delete the domain will be in quarantine status for 30 days. During this period the domain can be reactivated. 5 days after the 30 days it has status pendingDelete and will be deleted after these 5 days.
A domain name can be restored for 30 days after the domain name has been deleted or expired.
