How to fix "Auth code is wrong" error message when doing email address verification

You may encounter this error when attempting to verify your email address by clicking the verification link sent to your inbox.

This simply means that you clicked on the link from an older email. A new code is generated each time a verification is required. Make sure you click on the link from the latest email that was sent to you.
