Registration

 

A .sx domain name registration is realtime and requires no specific additional data outside of the regular contact details for the owner, administrative and technical contact.

 

Transfer

 

A transfer has to be registered with an authorization code. The owner and administrative contact will receive an e-mail that needs to be confirmed within 14 days. After this is confirmed it will take up to 5 days before it is successfully transferred.

Trade (owner change)

 

A change of ownership can be done by replacing the owner contact in the control panel. After saving the changes the change is processed realtime.

 

Update

 

A change of contactdetails can be done by updating the associated handles in the control panel. After saving the changes the domainname will be updated realtime.

 

Delete

 

A delete is realtime. After a delete the domain will be in quarantine status for 30 days. During this period the domain can be reactivated. 5 days after the 30 days it has status pendingDelete and will be deleted after these 5 days.

 

Restore (reactivation)

 

A domain name can be restored for 30 days after the domain name has been deleted or expired.
