Transfer

 

- A .SO Domain Transfer has to be initiated with a so-called Authorisation Code
which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner or Admin-C of the domain.
- A successful transfer will result in a one year extension of the registration period.
- Transfers will auto-­Ack after five days if the losing Registrar has taken no action.
- While in pendingTransfer
the losing Registrars may Ack (approve) or Nack (deny) the transfer request.
- Valid transfer requests will result in the domain being place in pendingTransfer status for up to 5 days.

Trade (owner change)

 

A change of ownership can be done by replacing the owner contact in the control panel. After saving the changes the change is processed realtime.

 

Update

 

A change of contactdetails can be done by updating the associated handles in the control panel. After saving the changes the domainname will be updated realtime.

 

Delete

 

A delete is realtime. After a delete the domain will be in quarantine status. During this period the domain can be reactivated.

 

Restore (reactivation)

 

A domain name can be restored after the domain name has been deleted or expired.
