How does Openprovider calculate the price of an upgrade?

The price of an upgrade is calculated as being the price difference between the old and new license, times the number of remaining months of the order period, rounded up.

If you ordered a license (€ 10 per month) for a full year, and order an upgrade after 3.5 month to a license that's priced € 15 per month, the remaining 9 months (8.5 rounded up) are billed for the € 5 price difference. The total upgrade price is then € 45. On the next renewal date, the license is renewed for 12 months times € 15.

In case this license would have been renewed per month, the upgrade price is € 5 (the difference between old and new license), and from the next renewal date the € 15 license fee per month.
