Abuse and complaints policy in Openprovider

Disputes and complaints about a domain name are primarily handled between the domain holder and his or her direct provider. If that is not possible for any reason, the complainant can contact the abuse department of Openprovider at We will promptly contact our customer about the issue and ask him to solve it. If this does not succeed, we will escalate the complaint and cooperate to find a suitable solution.

This solution will always be based on the contracts with and policies of the respective registry. If a solution is implemented without involvement of our customer (reseller), additional proof of identification of the registrant is required.

In case of a formal court order, WIPO decision or similar decision, Openprovider will implement the decision on the domain name. This will be done within 5 days.
