Why zone changes are not propagated across Google nameservers

Question

Why DNS zone changes are not propagated across Google public resolvers?

Answer

If the Google nameservers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) do not correctly propagate the changes to your zones (for example after updating an IP address of an A record) you may want to flush Google public DNS cache for that specific record.

Google has published a special tool on https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/cache.
